  1. Awesome! Family definitely seems right, how about Cnemidophorus lemniscatus? Posted 5 years ago
    1. I looked at that species but don't know how much variation there is in colour - have asked a friend in this country for advice - I'd say if it is known for much colour variation, then that's probably the boy - I have another picture which I'll put on. Posted 5 years ago
      1. I looked at a lot of photos of this species and indeed they are very variable. Definitely saw a few with the dark lines on the back and red sides like on your photo. It also seems the only regularly reported in the family in Venezuela. Still not 100% sure though, so wonder what your friend thinks. Posted 5 years ago
        1. His initial thought was rainbow whip - which is what we're thinking - definitely in the correct area/zone & looking more and more likely - thanks Posted 5 years ago
          1. Alright, let's just go for it. Posted 5 years ago
            1. Hi Ferdy, My friend says the variability occurs as they come into prime breeding colours, so the identification seems sound. Cheers, David Posted 5 years ago
              1. Great, thanks for confirming. Posted 5 years ago

  2. If it's any different & we find it, we can change it Posted 5 years ago
