Indigo Milk Cap - Lactarius indigo **I have been nearly desperate to find this mushroom for years now. This is my very first! It was tiny and not as impressive as the larger ones, but it was still really cool!

This mushroom was tiny. The cap was grayish with a bit of brown. When handled, it bruised green. When cut, the flesh quickly bruised blue.

Habitat: Growing in moss in a mixed forest.
