The leave's of this plant have an amazing texture. They are so soft!

Habitat: Near a garden...Likely a garden escapee.

  I have no idea. Maybe to increase the surface area for water absorption? Or, maybe to prevent creatures from eating it? It is soooooo soft! It has some useful purposes..It has antiseptic properties and can be used medicinally. It also can be used as toilet paper in a pinch ;P. Posted 5 years ago

The Lambs-ear

"Stachys byzantina" is a species of "Stachys", native to Turkey, Armenia, and Iran. It is cultivated over much of the temperate world as an ornamental plant, and is naturalised in some locations as an escapee from gardens. Plants are very often found under the synonym "Stachys lanata" or "Stachys olympica".
