Skeleton fingers of Autumn

"Just before the death of leaves,
And before they are buried in snow,
There comes a festival season
When nature is all aglow."

Allas, I do not know the species of tree I have captured here. My guess is that it is an english oak, very easily spotted around were I live due to their frequency in footprint. I will know in the summer, when leaves yet again bloom and nature glows again in brightest green.

Still, I like the sadly coloured, burried hope in a buds essence.
Due to my life being very busy, I am not spotted very frequently here, but out of sight is certainly not out of mind! Love you guys/girls;)

"Quercus robur", the pedunculate oak, is a species of flowering plant in the beech and oak family, Fagaceae. It is a large tree, native to most of Europe and western Asia, and is widely cultivated in other temperate regions. It grows on soils of near neutral acidity in the lowlands and is notable for its value to natural ecosystems, supporting a very wide diversity of herbivorous insects and other pests, predators and pathogens.
