Madagascar Magpie-Robin, Andasibe, Madagascar
Another pretty little forest bird in Madagascar. A little background on the photography: it's a challenge. The light is poor, there's always branches in the way of subjects and you must be very fast because the birds are very active. Using a 500mm hand-held, I have been using auto ISO and manual focus, because setting up a tripod or manually tuning ISO is a luxury you don't have time for. Manual focus is recommended because of the thick vegetation.

The Madagascar Magpie-Robin is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
