Yellow Umbrella Stick Insect

This female Phasmid of the species Eurynecroscia nigrofasciata is fondly known as Yellow Umbrella Stick Insect for her impressive and bright yellow wings which she flares up as defensive posture.

  Nice! Most stick insects are 'boring' looking being their characteristics to camouflage among the foliage.
