    1. Ditto! Nice - I think, I have another from Venezuela, will try to dig it out sometime Posted 5 years ago
      1. I intentionally do not ask how big your archive is, it spoils the fun. But thank you for your regular sharing, all these daily drips lead to very valuable buckets full in the long run. Posted 5 years ago
        1. As I'm sure you know - it's time that's precious - so I'm going through the 2019 trip to Colombia, then I'll look through Costa Rica 2018 - then sweep Venezuela again (2014/15) & so to British Colombia then Alaska (if I can find the right external drives (have moved house 3 times in last 3 years, after not moving for 25 years) - Now settled but boxes etc. all over - so it's not a deliberate drip feed - they say work is the curse of the drinking classes, it also gets in the way of this..;¬0) Posted 5 years ago
          1. Oh my, that's still a lot coming! Mind you, you current sharing pace is actually ideal. Up to about a dozen per day gives posts better appreciation versus sharing larger sets at once. That said, with years of backlog, it will take a long time to share it all.

Which is fine too, we're not going anywhere.

            1. It's a great site you've got and I always think it's almost pointless taking the photographs if you don't/can't identify what you've got - Clare, my wife, just says I'm obsessive :<( Posted 5 years ago
              1. I can relate. My girlfriend, Henriette, introduced me to both remote travel and photography, I had zero interest in it before (or was simply unknowing/ignorant). Huge mistake :) Posted 5 years ago
                1. Clare loves the travel, the wildlife & the photos but is frustrated at the time in front of a laptop - The key determinant is that you're "dead a long time" so take advantage of health etc. & do it! Incidentally she was decidedly half-spooked about Colombia & nearly backed out but by the 2nd day in Guaviare she was sold on it!! ;-) Posted 5 years ago
