The king of lemurs
Many of us know the ring-tailed Lemur, also known as "King Julien" to be the self-declared king of Madagascar. In my opinion though, the Indri Indri is the uncrowned king. As a true king, it does not accept to be enslaved, in captivity it goes on hunger strike and dies. And as a true king, it has a distinctive call, which you can hear in the video comment.
We've spotted this king in the Andasibe forest, which is pretty much the only place on the planet where mortals like you and I can see it.

The indri, also called the babakoto, is one of the largest living lemurs. It is a diurnal tree-dweller related to the sifakas and, like all lemuroids, it is native to Madagascar.
