            1. But...Did you know that the "skull" part of the moth on the Silence of the Lambs poster is actually a portrait contrived by Salvador Dali? It's a bunch of posed, naked women. Google 'In Voluptas Mors', and then compare to the movie poster. Posted 5 years ago

"Acherontia atropos" is the most widely known of the three species of Death's-head Hawk moth. "Acherontia" species are notorious mainly for a vaguely skull-shaped pattern on the thorax.
