Crambid Moth An attractive small moth with a wingspan of 20 mm. Mostly brown with a costal margin of dull copper. Both fore and hind wings showed white patches.<br />
The moth was seen resting propped on its long thin white legs and abdomen curled upwards.<br />
Antennae were swept back.<br />

''Ischnurges illustralis'' is a moth of the family Crambidae. The species was first described by Julius Lederer in 1863. It is known from Australia and New Guinea.
