Graphosoma italicum is a species of shield bug in the family Pentatomidae. It is also known as the Italian Striped-Bug and Minstrel Bug. For a long time this species has been referred to as Graphosoma lineatum because the two names had been synonymized, but recent DNA analysis has proven the paler North African animals that Linnaeus had based his description of Cimex lineatum on, to be a separate species, distinct from the darker animals originally described from Italy as Cimex italicus.
