Ramalina bourgeana The only reason why I know this species is because I saw it right in the volcanic land outside the Visitor's Center in Mancha Blanca, within the Timanfaya National park. The lichen species was mentioned in the information panels inside the center. The lichens play an important role as first colonizers of the volcanic ground and as rock disgregators.
