Dacryopinax elegans
At first glance, I thought "Oh, some more Wood Ear (Auricularia sp.) on a log!" I nearly passed them by entirely until I saw the long stalks peeking out of moss! Yet another first for me! This mild, wet winter is full of endless surprises!
Growing on a highly rotted log under mostly pine.
