Modern man - Homo sapiens
This is not a joke. Homo sapiens Linnaeus, 1758 is a member of the Hominidae family, Animalia kingdom. The family has 4 genera: Gorilla, Homo, Pan, and Pongo. And while the other 3 genera are represented here, there was no record of the Homo genus. So I decided to fill the gap with myself, just to avoid to ask somebody to sign a model release! -:)

"Homo sapiens" is the only extant human species. The name is Latin for "wise man" and was introduced in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus.

First, as admin I have to keep up the illusion of consistency and explain that photos of people are not allowed and will usually be actively deleted. But not this time, it's a clever take to introduce a species this way and I put people before process and bureaucracy.
More important, I know what you have conquered during the last years and it warms my heart to see you like this: up on your feet, full of energy and excitement. The level of your work was always high and seems to keep getting better still. And in total, your set is invaluable and covers so much eastern European goodness.
Keep going, friend. Posted 5 years ago
