Hair Ice! This ice is formed with in dead deciduous wood and extruded into the open air. The process needs, humid air, below freezing temperatures and, just recently discovered, the fungus, Exidiopsis effusa! The fungus also produces a recrystallisation inhibitor that stabilizes the 0.01mm hairs. <br />
