    1. Hi Ferdy, I had this larva in a jar with some leafs and couldn't find it back - turns out that it had created this new little mine overnight. The image below shows more of the mines (empty ones, with lots of small Miridae on it):

Dicladispa occator is a species of Leaf beetles (Chrysomelidae) in the subfamily Cassidinae, tribe Hispini (formerly a subfamily in its own right, Hispinae) with monophagous development on Cistaceae, where the larvae create irregular upper surface blotch like leaf mines.
