  1. A velvet beauty - what a beast! Yes, the Huntsman is up there with similar leg span but I think these take out the 'meatiest' prize, awesome. I would love to see a tarantula in situ. There are species here in Australia within four genera, hopefully one day. Posted 5 years ago
    1. We were very fortunate - it was in a shaft of sunlight close by the track and so it stood out, otherwise it'd just hve looked like another large seed on the forest floor. Posted 5 years ago
