Clymene Moth - Haploa clymene

The forewings are creamy-yellow with a partial black border that extends inward. The hindwings are yellow-orange with 1-2 black spots.

Habitat: Coniferous forest

        Ah, Ok, that makes sense but I would not be surprised if you find some wintering species. Here some butterflies hide in our basement sometimes to pass the winter. Last year we found two that unfortunately did not make it but soemtimes they do. And yes, I am also behind with my list..haha ;-) Posted 5 years ago
