Riverbank Grape - Vitis riparia
I find wild grapes to be difficult to ID, but I think this is V. riparia because the underside of the leaves was green with white hairs only along the veins. Also, the leaves were coarsely toothed and alternate. I have no idea why some of the berries were shriveled and gross-looking...maybe mold or pest-related?
Habitat: In a clearing near a pond.

"Vitis riparia" is a vine indigenous to North America. As a climbing or trailing vine, it is widely distributed across central and eastern Canada and the central and northeastern parts of the United States, from Quebec to Texas, and eastern Montana to Nova Scotia.
