Nerium oleander
There doesn't appear to be a specific country of origin for this species due to such wide cultivation. South-west Asia has been suggested.
An evergreen, bushy shrub. The leaves are strappy, leathery green, elongated and pointed at the tip. The flowers are spectacular, in clusters, bell-shaped and apricot in colour.

"Nerium oleander" /ˈnɪəriəm ˈoʊliː.ændər/ is an evergreen shrub or small tree in the dogbane family Apocynaceae, toxic in all its parts. It is the only species currently classified in the genus "Nerium". It is most commonly known as oleander, from its superficial resemblance to the unrelated olive "Olea".
