
''Mantidactylus opiparis'' is a species of frog in the family Mantellidae. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Hidden feature on species page? Where does the map come from (how is it integrated into JD - doesn't seem to be added manually ?!)

It comes from the Wikipedia parser. Some Wikipedia species pages have such maps and if JD manages to find it, it will include the map on the JD species page. Usually only a map is available for well documented species. Posted 5 years ago
I currently don't have any UI to update these maps. Not to upload it or to refer to it, sorry :(
Good future feature though, we need the ability to include non-species educational photos like maps, anatomy diagrams, biotopes, etc. Posted 5 years ago
