Blue Tongue Lizards Have Red Eyes
My front yard today 5 Nov 2019.
This girl is a regular, I have seen her for a few years now.
Very distinctive as she lost her tail a few years back, it has not yet fully grown out.
How do I know she is a girl - less decisive but she seems to get chased by other blue-tongues... that kind of thing..

The blotched blue-tongued lizard, also known as the southern blue-tongued lizard or blotched blue-tongued skink is a blue-tongued skink endemic to south-eastern Australia.

She was shy of course but I moved in slowly and carefully and she didn't take flight. Posted 5 years ago
