Blue Tongue Lizards Have Red Eyes My front yard today 5 Nov 2019.
This girl is a regular, I have seen her for a few years now.
Very distinctive as she lost her tail a few years back, it has not yet fully grown out.
How do I know she is a girl - less decisive but she seems to get chased by other blue-tongues... that kind of thing.. Blotched Blue-tongued Lizard,Tiliqua nigrolutea,adelaide,australia,blue-tongue Click/tap to enlarge Promoted

  1. Hah, great narrative. How close does she allow you to approach? Posted 5 years ago
  2. I was using a macro lens, the photo was taken at about 60cm.
She was shy of course but I moved in slowly and carefully and she didn't take flight.
