Gekko kikuchii - was a surprise find as I had initially thought its the more common house Gecko.

In the Philippines, this Gecko is known as Mindoro Narrow-Disked Gecko - Gekko mindorensis, supposedly a common species with wide range of distribution.

However, a recent study in 2014 using DNA believes both Gekko mindorensis and Gekko kikuchii are of the same species.

Gekko kikuchii is known from Orchid Island, Taiwan and thought to be endemic there.

As such, Gekko mindorensis (1919) is likely a junior synonym Gekko kikuchii (1912)
