However, a leading expert in Madagascar amphibians (Dr Mark D. Scherz) thinks it is Boophis roseipalmatus instead. Which would be surprising as Boophis roseipalmatus has only been described in 2010 as a species from the north. Boophis roseipalmatus - closeup, Andasibe, Madagascar This was first suggested as Boophis madagascariensis. However, a leading expert in Madagascar amphibians (Dr Mark D. Scherz) thinks it is Boophis roseipalmatus instead. Which would be surprising as Boophis roseipalmatus has only been described in 2010 as a species from the north.
