Stelis argentata - (possibly 5% Stelis benzingii) - small hairy mauve epiphytic orchid growing on leaf on Cerro Montezuma at approximately 1850 metres

Have now I believe identified this orchid - Stelis argentata - Cerro Montezuma is an outstanding venue in Colombia with Montezuma Lodge and Michelle Tapasco's hospitality. Went to see birds and mesmerised by the orchids - Many more to follow. Posted 5 years ago, modified 5 years ago

  Have now added species as 95% certain that this orchid is Stelis argentata - the other 5% suggests Stelis benzingii. Posted 5 years ago, modified 5 years ago
