
Oenothera lindheimeri
Native to southern Louisiana and Texas in North America.
A perennial growing to 1m or more. The tall spikes of pink flowers are held high above the foliage on stiff stems. Fast growing and long flowering, massed flowers from spring to autumn. Enjoying the full sun and heat here in Australia.
"Oenothera lindheimeri", formerly "Gaura lindheimeri", and commonly known as Lindheimer's beeblossom, white gaura, pink gaura, Lindheimer's clockweed, and Indian feather, is a species of "Oenothera".
Similar species: Myrtles, Evening Primroses.
