Marmalade hoverfly larva (top view)
Hoverfly larva with semi-transparent body. Closest match I could find is the marmalade hoverfly.
Crawling up the outside wall of my house. They hibernate as larva, so maybe it is looking for a nice spot to shelter.
The larva are avid aphid eaters and studies are ongoing how to increase their numbers to use them as pest control.
Side view:

"Episyrphus balteatus", sometimes called the marmalade hoverfly, is a relatively small hoverfly of the Syrphidae family, widespread throughout the Palaearctic region, which covers Europe, North Asia, and North Africa.
