Haven't had much time lately to edit photos with everything going on. As I started working through my longear photos from our megalotis/peltastes research, I stumbled upon one of my orangespotted sunfish photos I never posted, so here it is! More longears to come in the following weeks

The orangespotted sunfish is a North American species of freshwater fish in the sunfish family of order Perciformes. These fish are widely distributed across the middle and eastern United States, from the Rocky Mountains to the east, from the Great Lakes south into the Gulf Coast.
