Red Maple Leaf - Acer rubrum
This leaf had a different shape than the others, but I think it's still Acer rubrum.
Most of the leaves that I found on the ground from this tree were mottled red, yellow, and brown. The bark of this tree is gray and mostly smooth. During summer, the leaves are green and have frosty undersides.
Habitat: Deciduous forest

"Acer rubrum", is one of the most common and widespread deciduous trees of eastern North America. The red maple ranges from the Lake of the Woods on the border between Ontario and Minnesota, east to Newfoundland, south to near Miami, Florida, and southwest to east Texas.
