      Yes! And, I like the mottled look as a change from the usual, solid red that I see. Oh, and no disclaimer on this post because I didn't move the leaves - really! They had fallen on a wooden platform in the woods that my kids use as a stage on which they perform for me, haha. I have no idea what this platform is actually supposed to be for. Posted 5 years ago

The Red Maple

"Acer rubrum", is one of the most common and widespread deciduous trees of eastern North America. The red maple ranges from the Lake of the Woods on the border between Ontario and Minnesota, east to Newfoundland, south to near Miami, Florida, and southwest to east Texas.
