Female Panther Chameleon, Pyreras Reserve, Madagascar
Although females of this species are described as dull compared to the male, bright orange does not immediately bring to mind the term "dull". What they probably mean is that female color diversity is less, it ranges from brown to orange whilst males have more radically different primary colors.

The Panther Chameleon is a species of chameleon. It lives in the eastern and northern parts of Madagascar in a tropical forest biome. Additionally, it has been introduced to Réunion and Mauritius.
