Lemonpeel Angelfish - Centropyge flavissima This Lemonpeel Angelfish is fully yellow in colour with markings of b blue around its eyes and cheek and edges of its fins and tails.<br />

They are found mostly in the shallow reefs, and quite common or in abundance. However, they are very shy and difficult to get close to as once they sees you, will swim to hide in crevices and between gaps of hard corals. Can be very frustrating to take pictures of them. The lemonpeel angelfish is an omnivorous marine angelfish. Its body is a distinctive bright yellow in colour, with a blue or white circle around the eyes and blue behind the operculum. Juveniles have a blue ring on each side. It is native to the Indo-Pacific region, where it lives in lagoons and reefs and eats marine algae.

In aquaria, it is suitable for fish only tanks. It may be kept in a reef tank, but with caution. This species is well known for nipping at stony coral polyps and clam.. more
