1. Thank you Greg. Nocturnal lemurs do have awesome eyes. Check out some more examples of nocturnal lemurs found by day:

Red-tailed sportive lemur by day, Kirindy Reserve, Madagascar A few shots of this nocturnal species found by day in Kirindy. It's a relatively inactive species, so when seeing it at night, it's relatively easy to find it again by day. When found by day, it remains calm and makes no attempt to flee. It does always seem to have an exit plan at hand, such as dropping itself into a branch, above all to escape from owls and hawks. We've seen one by day 3 times in our lives and it always seems awake, not actually sleeping. There's surprisingly little information about this species online regarding diet, behavior, etc. The most important fact is of course its hilarious face.
Portrait of an Ankarana Sportive Lemur, Ankarana, Madagascar It's not often that you get a chance to do a clear portrait on a nocturnal animal like this during the day. This locally endemic lemur has a small distribution, our guide mentioning a population of ~300 adults. They are one of the smallest lemurs. Full body shot:
The brown mouse lemur is a small primate, and like the other mouse lemurs can only be found on the island of Madagascar. They are known also as the rufous mouse lemur, eastern rufous mouse lemur, red mouse lemur, or russet mouse lemur. Its dorsal side is brown or reddish-brown, while ventrally it is a whitish-grey.

It was originally considered a subspecies of the gray mouse lemur until 1977, when it was reclassified as a separate species.

The mouse lemurs are among the shortest-lived.. more
