    1. Whoops, missed that comment ... I had never (knowingly) seen this species until recently in Ireland (at sunset) and at first was confused by the strange "glare" on the body, that turned out to be just the lighter colour. So I tried to shoot some images there, but those were all awful (I never shoot "big things at a distance" so all the settings were wrong. Saw it again now on Ruegen and decided to give it another shot ... not the best either, but more presentable and the species was still missing for Germany here, so... theryago ;o) Posted 5 years ago

The Hooded Crow is a Eurasian bird species in the crow genus. Widely distributed, it is also known locally as Scotch Crow, Danish Crow, and Corbie or Grey Crow in Ireland.
