Herbivorous Pleuroptya Moth (Patania silicalis) Larva? on False Nettle (Boehmeria cylindrica) Leafroller moth larva on False Nettle (Boehmeria cylindrica). At an overgrown dirt roadside at the edge of a dense mixed forest.
I am thinking of attempting the rearing process with these. This appears to be an early instar.
Right now, I'm thinking this is the most likely
1. I plan on trying out Charley's rearing process.

I didn't get to hike this morning (and it is way too hot to be outside right now), so I will have to wait until the weekend.

      1. That seems time consuming but hopefully very worthwhile! Posted 5 years ago
