  2. Hi Ernst, your image here came up when I posted my Tradescantia fluminensis just now. T. fluminensis produces white flowers only. What you have here looks like native scurvy weed (Commelina cyanea). I changed the ID listing but not your title! Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago

"Commelina cyanea" is a perennial prostrate herb of the family Commelinaceae native to moist forests and woodlands of eastern Australia, Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island. The blue flowers appear over the warmer months and are pollinated by bees and flies.
