Brown-eyed Susan - Rudbeckia triloba This is supposed to be Rudbeckia triloba, but it looks more like Rudbeckia hirta to me. So, I&#039;m not sure, but am going with the alleged ID for now. <br />

Brown-eyed Susan - Rudbeckia triloba

This is supposed to be Rudbeckia triloba, but it looks more like Rudbeckia hirta to me. So, I'm not sure, but am going with the alleged ID for now.

  1. A really tough genus. Did you key this out?
    I'm double checking my ID on the R. triloba i just posted. I got a little bit of heat exhaustion, so I'm pretty sure I got tripped up on the difficult key. Ugh!

    1. I didn't key it out - I saw this in a garden at a nature center and it was labeled. I felt like it looked more like hirta, but had never seen/noticed triloba before.

      Were yours smallish?
