    Yes you might be correct, the only thing is that apart from the flower coloration and shape everything else doesn’t fit.I can’t find so far info on the wild plant. All info talks about large flowers , size of the plant in meters , using the stems for spears ect. The plants I found were only small and the flowers only about 20 mm.
    I do agree that the Genus fits but have to maybe find someone who works in that field. Posted 6 years ago

The Wonga Vine

"Pandorea pandorana" is a species of woody climbing vine in the family Bignoniaceae. It is found in Australia, Malesia and the southwestern Pacific region. It forms large pointed pods filled with papery seeds.
