
Chicken Mushrooms on an Old Coastal Douglas Fir Tree
Supposedly the edges of this fungus when cooked PROPERLY tastes like chicken. You first! Not to be confused with true L. sulphureus which does not occur west of the Rocky Mountains.

It was interesting to see these mushrooms sprouting all the way down to the base of this tree.
