  1. A very cute angry bird! Is there something wrong with its left eye? Posted 6 years ago
    1. I'm hoping maybe it's a small insect drinking from the eye. Posted 6 years ago
      1. Yes Franny it could be a small fly or mite . The wrens would look for insects most of the time in grassed areas Posted 6 years ago
      2. Christine I think a Falcon would be jealous of your eyeside.
It could be a small parasite or as Franny ( another eagle eye) suggested it could be a small fly. The bird appeared at the time very healthy.

      1. Lol, no problem Ernst! Good point about it possibly being a tiny insect! Posted 6 years ago
  2. I love these birds and wish I had more come to the garden - it is my goal to attract more of our smaller birds and I know I must stop encouraging the magpies for a start! Eye-catching and darling little characters and you've made a splendid capture here Ernst, so lovely. Posted 6 years ago
  3. Beautiful angry female! Posted 6 years ago
