  1. A native honeysuckle, nice! Posted 7 days ago
    1. These are in just about every forest stand except the extremely swampy ones. Have you seen this species in CT? Posted 7 days ago
      1. I have never seen it. But, I'm not very good with plant IDs, so it may be present. I normally see the invasive honeysuckles, like Amur and Japanese. Posted 7 days ago

''Diervilla lonicera'', commonly referred to as northern bush honeysuckle, low bush honeysuckle, dwarf bush honeysuckle, or yellow-flowered upright honeysuckle, is a deciduous shrub native to the northeastern United States and Canada. Its specific epithet, ''lonicera'' refers to its similarity in appearance to the true honeysuckles, genus ''Lonicera''.
