        1. Yes, I see a lot of people holding back on this out of courtesy. But there is no need, it doesn't matter who pushes the button, the photo owner in any case will get any possible species intro/country intro no matter who identified it.

          Another reason to do it right away is that some people never respond to your courtesy, leaving it unidentified permanently, or, you need to keep track of it all in your head.

"Monstera deliciosa" is a species of flowering plant native to tropical forests of southern Mexico, south to Panama. It has been introduced to many tropical areas, and has become a mildly invasive species in Hawaii, Seychelles, Ascension Island and the Society Islands. It is very widely grown in temperate zones as a houseplant.
