  1. An enchanting presentation Lars, nice to see the subdued lighting with focus on the middle of the flower with its intriguing form - so often these are presented in bright sunlight. Posted 4 months ago
    1. Thanks, Ruth - you know I love it more dark :) But aside from this personal affinity, I feel the floral world is presented technically much better with low key palettes. Having a sense of lighting and darker backgrounds means the advantage of refraining from boosting colors, like so usual for other floral photographers. Posted 4 months ago

''Dimorphotheca ecklonis'' or ''Osteospermum'', (Cape marguerite, Van Staden's river daisy, Sundays river daisy, white daisy bush, blue-and-white daisy bush, star of the veldt) is an ornamental plant. A native plant of South Africa, this plant is now regarded as a weed in parts of Australia, particularly Victoria and Western Australia.
