The End of the Log! Obviously a good place for this coral-like fungus to grow. For a closer look,<br />

It was growing out of a decaying log more than likely a deciduous tree. The cut end of the log was providing an great habitat for this fungus.<br />

The End of the Log!

Obviously a good place for this coral-like fungus to grow. For a closer look,

The Green Tips Helped At first I thought this must be Ramaria stricta but the green tips led me to believe it is Lentaria byssiseda. It was growing out of a decaying log more than likely a deciduous tree. The cut end of the log was providing an great habitat for this fungus.<br />
