Geum aleppicum var. strictum fruiting head. The achenes are hairy near their bases and the tips of the achenes (remnants of the stigmas) have a few short hairs. The terminal leaflets on the lowermost leaves were not rounded. Growing in a moist area in a pasture.

It is a herbaceous perennial plant growing to 1 m tall with pinnate leaves. The flowers are 2 cm diameter, yellow, with five to seven toothed petals.
