  1. Sooooo awesome! I rarely ever see an adult! Posted 3 months ago
    1. I was so excited! This was on my life list for sure!

I've only seen one other owlfly in the wild, and it was when I was in the middle of mowing down my meadow at the old place a couple of weeks ago. No camera with me, and I was destroying its habitat. T_T It was awful.

      1. Aww! Sad to see the suburban meadow go. Posted 3 months ago
        1. It was very sad. I tried to mow from a central point out. I saw lots of field mice, rabbits, and other critters fleeing--and it broke my heart. I was upset for a couple of days after that. T_T

Jason had to keep reminding me that it wasn't my land, but I had worked so hard to get it healthy...

          1. They will be okay and are hopefully already comfy in a new home. Sad though, I know it meant a lot to you <3. Posted 3 months ago
