Attracted to an incandescent porch light. Warm night, mid-70s F (cooled down later), and humid. MacLean (2006) describes this species as "uncommon" in Minnesota (MacLean, David B. (2006) "Preliminary Inventory of Lepidoptera From Cook County, Minnesota: Hesperioidea, Papilionoidea, Drepanoidea, Geometroidea, Bombycoidea, Sphingoidea and Noctuoidea," The Great Lakes Entomologist: Vol. 39: No. 2, Article 3.).
