Praying Mantis - Hierodula daphne Currently, Hierodula daphne is listed as synonym of Hierodula venosa, however, I was told by a Mantid specialist that the synonym is likely to be in error and that Hierodula daphne is likely a valid species.  He mentioned that if this can be verified to be Hierodula daphne, then this could be the only pictures in existence of a live specimen!<br />

Hierodula is a species of Praying Mantis from the family of Mantidae.
