Yellow Scorpion (Buthus occitanus) top view
This beautiful scorpion was hiding under a big stone. In an attempt to make him move to the top of the rock, to give me the opportunity to make a photograph of him, he managed to sting me in the top of my left ring finger. It hurt instantly as a hit with a hammer! Within minutes my left finger, after 1 hour my left hand and in 2 hours the pain reached my entire underarm. It hurt for 2 days. The fingertop was still sensitive after two weeks. Quite an experience!
