
Grape Plume Moth - Geina periscelidactylus
WS: ~15 mm. Peppery orange FW with a white crescent in the mouth of the notch, and two white lines slanting in from the costa near the apex. Hosts: Grape and Virginia creeper.
*I'm not sure about the ID and think there's a decent chance it could be Geina tenuidactylus.
Habitat: Attracted to a light in a semi-rural area

"Geina periscelidactyla" is a moth of the Pterophoroidea family. It is found in eastern North America. The wingspan is about 16 mm. Adults are on wing from June to July. The larvae feed on grape and Virginia creeper. It is considered a minor pest on cultivated grape. The larvae web together the young leaves and shoots.
